During operations in several cities on Saturday, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) detained four individuals and found a significant amount of narcotics.

During a raid at Misrial Road in Rawalpindi, the ANF found 100 narcotic tablets on two suspects, both of whom were residents of Peshawar. In addition, 144 kg of hashish and 30 kg of opium were found in a car near the Wali junction in Nowshera. The suspect was detained and was a native of Peshawar.

These seizures came as a result of operations near the Torkham border Nadra Chowk and where 65,000 intoxicating tablets that had been kept inside plastic bags were discovered.

ANF claims that 780 grammes of cocaine were found in a package shipped to Australia during a separate search at a private courier agency at Karachi International Airport.
