On Saturday, a terrorist attack on a checkpoint set up in the Zarghoon, Marget region of Balochistan resulted in the martyrdom of three troops.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a statement that early on Saturday, a gang of terrorists attacked a security forces position. The Post had just been formed to aid in thwarting local coal mine extortion attempts.
The post’s troops swiftly responded to the fire raid and drove the terrorists back. However, during the subsequent intense exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed and three troops chose martyrdom.
According to a follow-up ISR attempt, a purposeful blocking and sanitization operation had been started when it was determined that adjacent mountains were likely the hiding place of escaping terrorists.
According to the statement, “at this time, the operation is going well, and security forces are applying pressure to prevent terrorists from escaping the area.”
