PDM Chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman Announced Protest & Sit-in In Front of Supreme Court on Monday

Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman PDM

Monday will see a protest and a significant sit-in in front of the Supreme Court, according to Maulana Fazal-Ur Rehman, the head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Speaking to the media during the PDM meeting in Islamabad, Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman stated that it has been suggested that Imran Khan not be detained in connection with any case and that he should also not be detained if there is no information of any case.

In response to the court’s decision to free Imran Khan, he remarked that it is easy to see where our judiciary stands and how it is making decisions that go beyond the letter and spirit of the law and the constitution.

This concession, according to the PDM president, was made at Nawaz Sharif’s request when he learned that his wife had been admitted to the intensive care unit. Nawaz Sharif was three times elected as the country’s prime minister. Let him inquire, but when he returned to his cell three hours later, he was informed that his wife had passed away. He was not even given access to a phone.

He asserted that if Maryam Nawaz and Faryal Talpur had received the same type of accommodation, Imran Khan would not now be given VVIP treatment, terrorism would be happening throughout the entire nation, and the court would be protecting terrorists.

According to Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, the homes of the army chief and corps commander are being broken into, memorials to those who gave their lives for their country are being destroyed, and the state’s security services are being ridiculed and insulted. It is for defence.

He said that as of today, a protest against the Supreme Court’s actions will take place. Speaking on behalf of the PDM leadership, he urged the entire country to march towards Islamabad on Monday, May 15. There will be a huge demonstration in front of the Supreme Court if it occurs.

Chief Justice, we’re not ready to accept the result of 2-3, please hear us out.

The JUI(F) leader stated that they would be informed that the Supreme Court is the “Mother of Law” and not the “Mother in Law,” that they are not celestial creatures unlike us, and that they are in fact human. The simplest solution is to disqualify the elected official of the people since they would not see the parliament as superior.

He said, “We want to make it absolutely clear that Chief Justice, listen, we are not prepared to accept the decision of 2-3. In our opinion, the decision of 3-4 is the court’s ruling.”

The nation’s citizens and every member of our party will come before the Supreme Court in Islamabad on Monday, as per the unanimous statement made today. He said that once a legislation is passed, you cannot be the only one to take note of any issue. He will have to abandon everything and travel to Islamabad to stage a nonviolent protest in front of the Supreme Court. No one will suspect that he is stopping for such-and-such job when he leaves the house.

“Anyone who raises their hands will receive sticks, slaps, and punches in response.”

According to Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, we have protested peacefully in the past and would do so in the future. However, we should keep in mind that if someone attempts to raise his hand or stares at us with a crooked eye, we will be assaulted with sticks, slaps and fists. There will be a response.

Regarding the query of whether protests would be permitted in Islamabad notwithstanding the implementation of Section 144? In response, the PDM chief stated that we have moved past this issue and it is no longer our responsibility.

In answer to a different question, he stated that Imran Khan has placed everything on the line, including the nation’s economy, morals, laws, and constitution, in order to play a part in preserving democracy and institutions.
