
When is Rain Expected in Karachi?

The western wind system is affecting the country as its circulation moves away from Sindh to South Punjab, weather expert said on Monday.
The expert went on to say that while there may be thundercloud formation away from Karachi today, rain is likely to fall in the city tomorrow (Tuesday).
Tomorrow afternoon or evening, rain and thunder are predicted to fall in the city.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PDM) predicts that Sindh will experience thunderstorms and rain over the course of the next 24 hours, with a few isolated moderate to heavy falls.
In a previous weather advisory, the PDM stated that rain was likely to fall in the nation between April 26 and the first week of May.
“A westerly wave is likely to enter the country from April 26 (evening/night) and likely to spread in central and southern parts of the country and may persist until first week of May,” the PDM stated in a statement posted on its Twitter account.
