Elon Musk recently criticised movie critics for their assessments of the Super Mario Bros. film.

According to Independent, this week saw the cinematic debut of the animated children’s film based on the best-selling Nintendo video game series.

The Super Mario Bros. movie has just a 54% favourable reviewers score on the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, classifying it as “Rotten.”

It’s interesting to note that the audience rating, which non-professional critics cast their votes for, is “Fresh 96% positive.”
The CEO of the website responds to a tweet from the @BoredElonMusk account that included a screenshot of the movie’s Rotten Tomatoes ratings.

Systems for content screening are unreliable. The latest Mario movie has received a D- from the “experts” due to critics’ issues with Chris Pratt, despite the fact that audiences overwhelmingly favour it, according to the tweet.

The discrepancy here suggests a serious issue, it said, “Both of these groups are obviously biassed.”

Wow, the critiques are so removed from reality, wrote Musk in response.

Musk made a cameo as Wario, Mario’s yellow adversary, in a Saturday Night Live parody earlier in 2021.
