The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) demanded that the foreign minister “learn the reality” after criticising Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for rejecting the by-election that was set up for Sindh’s local body elections. The Pakistan Peoples Party’s chairman is Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari (PPP).
Bilawal addressed during the ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Cardiovascular Disease in Korangi, Karachi, and discussed the steps his administration has made to enhance healthcare in Sindh.

PPP’s Response to JI’s Criticism:

In response to those who criticised his party for not doing more to assist locals, Bilawal stated, “We have created a network of hospitals throughout the province. High-quality medical services are accessible for free through this hospital system.

PPP won in Hyderabad and Karachi for the first time, the PPP chairman said.

Although elections for local bodies had taken occurred, according to him, no one had been chosen. If the elections had been held as scheduled, the people’s chosen representatives would have been there to help them in the flood situation.

He said, “Who is stopping the people from having their representatives come to power?” We reject this farce of a timeline, he said.

He requested that the schedule be appealed to the Sindh High Court by the law minister Murtaza Wahab and the chief minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah.

A PPP mayor for Karachi cannot be accepted by these authorities. But, Karachi’s mayor will soon be a jiyala.
It should be recalled that the Sindh elections for 93 local government seats in various categories would take place on the dates that were made public by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

The passing of candidates prevented the LG elections from taking place in all of the seats in the Karachi and Hyderabad divisions, which were held in January.

According to the schedule, applicants may submit their papers for nomination between March 20 and March 22. The nomination papers will have been examined by March 28.

JI’s Criticism of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari:

The leader of the JI, Hafiz Naeem, criticised both the PPP leader and Bilawal for their remarks. Sir, embrace the truth, Hafiz Naeem pleaded with Bilawal, stressing that the PPP had tried everything to get a majority of the vote.

He reprimanded Bilawal, saying, “Do not be scared of the by-elections.

If you were in such a rush, the local body elections had been postponed for 2.5 years, he said.

Hafiz Naeem stated that his party will succeed in electing Karachi’s mayor in his concluding remarks.
